By accessing or using Infinite Chronicles ("the Game," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Infinite Chronicles is an AI-powered text adventure game that generates interactive stories based on your choices. The Service includes free and premium subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

  • You may need to create an account to access certain features
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Subscription and Payments

Billing

  • Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

Refunds

  • Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time
  • Refunds may be available within 7 days of initial purchase
  • Prorated refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations

Free Tier

The free tier includes limited sessions per day and basic features. Upgrade to Premium or Creator Plus for unlimited access and additional features.

5. User Content

Your Content

When you submit custom actions or publish adventures, you retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it as part of the Service.

Content Guidelines

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or violates any laws
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
  • Is sexually explicit or depicts violence against minors
  • Contains personal information of others without consent
  • Attempts to bypass content filters or safety measures

6. AI-Generated Content

  • The Game uses AI to generate story content, which may be unpredictable
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI content
  • AI-generated content is for entertainment purposes only
  • You should not rely on AI content for factual information
  • We implement content filters but cannot guarantee all content will be appropriate

7. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, and non-AI content, is our property
  • AI-generated content created during your sessions may be used by you personally
  • You may not reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service
  • Our trademarks and branding may not be used without permission

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers)
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell or commercialize the Service without permission
  • Attempt to extract or train AI models on our content

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
  • You may close your account at any time
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately
  • Provisions regarding IP, liability, and disputes survive termination

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
